This was a add for the House of Blues, I made this in my InDesign class.
We were assigned to Create an ad in InDesign the twist however is we could only use black and white. After doing research on the house of blues I then got images from Online sources, I would then put the background image in gray scale, then I would image trace their logo to make it b&w. After that I would then set the text along the ray of the spot light. My reasoning from the type being White and black and not exclusively one color was while I was creating readable typography,Of white text on the top and bottom was low so I have a mixture of black and white set typography. My reasoning for selecting the spot light theme was due to the house of blues having entertainment. The house of blues is a restaurant/bar that has concerts and events.
